Our history

LE BOURGET was founded by Jean-Pierre SALTIEL in 1924. LE BOURGET.

He started the company with 12 workers in Fresnoy le Grand, thus benefiting from the regional knitting know-how.

The name LE BOURGET was chosen in 1927 LE BOURGET.

because of the first transatlantic flight by Lindberg landing at Le Bourget airport near Paris.

The italian group CSP International, www.cspinternational.it, second largest Italian manufacturer of tights and stockings after Golden Lady, purchases LE BOURGET in September 1999. LE BOURGET. For CSP, a family owned group listed at the Milan stock exchange, it is a strong access into the French market with a 10% market share.

This external growth enables CSP to become the 3rd world largest manufacturer of tights and stockings
